NDASA 2026.

NDASA 2026 was an outstanding event for the i3screen team and one of the most engaging conferences we’ve attended in recent years. From the packed exhibit hall to the nonstop conversations throughout the week, the energy around this year’s conference was incredible!

As always, the National Drug and Alcohol Screening Association  (NDASA) conference brought together professionals from every corner of the industry — C/TPAs, collection providers, MROs, laboratories, occupational health organizations, technology partners, and even some CRAs — all focused on advancing safe and compliant workplaces. 

This year’s agenda featured a strong mix of educational sessions, compliance discussions, operational strategy, and industry-forward conversations. One of the standout moments was the keynote presentation from Dr. Stephen Loyd, whose message around recovery, workplace support systems, and the human side of substance use disorder resonated with many attendees. Sessions covering workforce implications, oral fluid testing, employer expectations, the future of the Clearinghouse, and evolving drug testing technologies also generated significant discussion throughout the event. 

For the i3screen team, one of the biggest highlights of the conference was the opportunity to spend time with many existing clients and partners while also connecting with new prospects and exploring ways to strengthen and expand their programs. Some of the best conversations happened outside the formal sessions — around the booth, during networking events, and in the hallways between meetings. Those face-to-face interactions continue to be one of the most valuable parts of NDASA each year.

The golf outing was another fun highlight for our team. Beyond enjoying time with industry peers outside the conference environment, the team that included i3screen’s John Gumina and Matt Wrobel finished in second place — something they’ll probably be talking about until next year’s tournament.

We were also proud to help sponsor the Conference Welcome Reception alongside Accredited Drug Testing, which provided a great opportunity to reconnect with industry friends and meet many first-time attendees. 

Conferences like NDASA continue to reinforce something we strongly believe at i3screen: this industry is still built on relationships, trust, service, and real operational expertise. Technology matters. Automation matters. But organizations are ultimately looking for partners that understand the realities of the industry and can help them navigate growth, compliance, operational efficiency, and client experience.
